Homeward Bound” by Marta Keen is a gentle reminder that every journey - no matter how bold or far-reaching - always leads us back to the people and places that shape who we are. Sung as part of our Joy in the Journey Summer Concert, the song captured the tender balance between letting go and being welcomed home again. Singing and performing this song bought us a sense of comfort, courage and connection. It was a firm favoruite from Summer 2025.

Every Christmas, without fail, my choir begs to sing the Muppets Christmas Carol Medley - and honestly, who can resist? From Kermit’s gentle charm to Miss Piggy’s diva sparkle and Animal’s enthusiastic… percussion energy, this piece never fails to make us laugh, grin, and occasionally squeal.
We’ve performed it many times, and it still brings pure joy to us and to every audience we meet. Consider this our annual dose of festive Muppet mayhem - delivered with love, laughter, and just a hint of controlled chaos.
Christmas Fun with Uniting Singers
Christmas 2024 was truly unforgettable for UnitingSingers! From the joyous harmonies that filled the air during rehearsals to the magical performances that brought smiles to audiences, every moment was brimming with festive cheer. We laughed over hot drinks during breaks, bonded over shared stories, and celebrated the season with a shared love for music. Singing together under twinkling lights and watching the audience's faces light up was the highlight of our holiday. It was a time of togetherness, joy, and pure fun—one we’ll cherish.......until next Christmas!

Singing a variety of music in at UnitingSingers is an absolute must and what we do......is up to you! From classical masterpieces to lively pop hits and everything in between, exploring different genres keeps every rehearsal exciting. Each piece brings its own challenges and rewards, pushing us to grow as singers while keeping the experience fresh and fun. Sharing these songs with fellow choir members creates a sense of camaraderie, and the blend of voices coming together is truly magical. It’s a celebration of diversity in music and the unique connections it fosters within our community.
